Course Description

This qualification is designed to provide training for people, who may need to use physical intervention skills in the workplace to deal with people who display ‘challenging’, aggressive or violent behaviour. The aim of this course is to instruct staff in customer facing roles, who may be exposed to the risk of physical violence at work, in the underpinning legal knowledge and physical skills necessary to enable them to be able to avoid, defuse, and escape from a physical assault at work or otherwise.

This course provides a nationally recognised certified qualification.
